Overview
In this role you drive commercial management on major wastewater and water‑treatment infrastructure projects. You’ll collaborate with design, construction and supply‑chain teams to control costs and ensure effective contract administration. You will prepare budgets, forecasts and cost reports while mentoring junior staff and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships. This is an opportunity to shape commercial outcomes within a respected client’s infrastructure portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Deliver quantity surveying duties across project and work-packages
- Collaborate with design, construction, and supply-chain teams to manage project costs
- Manage contract requirements, including notices and project correspondence
- Prepare and manage subcontract documentation, payment applications, and subcontractor performance
- Produce detailed cost and value reports, budgets, and forecasts
- Mentor junior commercial staff and support stakeholder relationships
Key requirements
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
- Experience within utilities, civil engineering, or MEICA environments is desirable
- Knowledge of NEC contracts, especially NEC4, is highly advantageous
- Chartered or working toward professional accreditation is preferred
