Solution Architect

Overview

In this role you guide customers through Kinaxis solutions to address critical supply chain performance challenges. You’ll work with new and existing clients, translating needs into implementation outcomes and ensuring value realization. You join a consulting team that helps shape deployments, data flows, and integrations at scale. This is a high-impact, client-facing role with opportunities to influence product direction and industry solutions.

Responsibilities

• Advocate the value of Kinaxis throughout the customer journey as a subject matter expert in product and supply chain
• Lead workshops to gather requirements and set objectives for implementations with varying complexity
• Define overall architectures and data flows to meet business needs, including extensions
• Identify risks and craft mitigation plans for deployments
• Coach and delegate configuration tasks to project teams
• Resolve complex data and analytics configurations to ensure expected results
• Oversee validation, testing, data management and integration activities
• Provide leadership during deployment escalations and complex supply chain challenges
• Mentor and support other solution consultants through the implementation lifecycle
• Influence internal teams to shape the product roadmap for customer needs and new industries
• Participate in services sales to demonstrate the value of Maestro and implementation methodology
• Present complex information succinctly to stakeholders up to executive levels

Key requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant fields
• Minimum 8 years of software implementation consulting in supply chain planning or execution, or related business experience
• At least 3 direct years as a solution architect or lead functional consultant on enterprise transformations
• Excellent facilitation and communication skills
• Self-starter with ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrix environment
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking abilities
• Proven leadership, interpersonal and mentoring capabilities
• Experience with supply chain concepts and tools (Maestro, SAP, Oracle or Blue Yonder)
• Experience translating business processes into technical requirements during implementations
• Technical leadership in data integration, data management, configuration and deployment
• Proficiency with SQL, R and/or JavaScript
• Willingness to travel ~75% (up to 100% occasionally) and work remotely from client sites
