Associate Quantity Surveyor

Overview

Currie & Brown seeks ambitious Associate Quantity Surveyors with UK infrastructure experience to join our team. You will lead pre- and post-contract commercial services on major UK infrastructure projects and mentor staff. You will work with NEC4/NR/FIDIC contracts, lead project delivery, and support bids. The role emphasizes development, knowledge sharing, and contributing to growth within an international firm.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-contract and post-contract commercial services on large UK infrastructure projects
• Administer or audit NEC4 / NR / FIDIC contracts
• Guide project delivery teams and provide advisory evaluations and recommendations
• Mentor junior staff and support bids for new work
• Drive high standards of service delivery in fast-moving environments
• Contribute to the firm’s growth and knowledge sharing across projects

Key requirements

• Professional institution membership (APM, RICS, ICE, etc.)
• Significant commercial experience on complex UK civil engineering/construction projects
• Strong technical writing and client-facing communication skills
• Well-organised, proactive, assertive, commercially astute
• Ability to obtain Security Clearance
