Overview
As Plant Manager at DwyerOmega’s Ely site, you lead a key manufacturing hub within a global, high-quality industrial business. You own site performance, manufacturing, supply chain, quality and logistics, driving revenue, EBITDA and a culture of safety and continuous improvement. You’ll partner with cross-functional teams to align demand with capacity, implement cost and margin initiatives, and advance Lean and Industry 4.0 initiatives. Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day operations across manufacturing, supply chain, quality and logistics
- Ensure production output meets customer demand and revenue targets
- Drive on-time delivery and schedule adherence
- Manage site KPIs and operational metrics
- Execute SIOP at site level and align with forecasts and capacity
- Improve forecast accuracy through planning and commercial collaboration
- Deliver revenue and EBITDA plans while boosting productivity
- Lead Lean and Continuous Improvement programs to reduce waste
- Develop and coach the site leadership team and workforce
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality standards
Key requirements
- Degree in Engineering, Operations Management or related discipline, or equivalent experience
- Proven track record in manufacturing leadership and multi-functional operations
- Experience with SIOP, demand planning, capacity planning and resource management
- Strong experience driving operational excellence, productivity and cost control
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies
- Commercial and financial awareness with EBITDA understanding
- Excellent analytical, data-driven decision making and stakeholder influence skills
- Ability to lead, develop and coach teams in a fast-paced environment
