As a Mechanical Engineer, you contribute to water and wastewater projects that improve environments and communities. Responsibilities
- Develop mechanical design for water and wastewater projects through outline and detailed design, construction, and handover, including P&IDs, valve schedules, and pump calculations.
- Coordinate with Electrical, Civil, Geotech, and Process design teams to deliver on programme, budget, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with commercial, operational, and construction teams to devise efficient, practical, and safe design solutions.
- Engage with clients to manage relationships and support their objectives with a one-team approach.
- Define safe access and lifting arrangements and plan above-ground pipe layouts as part of the mechanical scope.
Key requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Working towards IEng / CEng with a relevant Engineering Institution
- Effective communication with team members and stakeholders
- Methodical problem-solving approach
- Valid driving licence and willingness to travel to sites
