Securities Finance Developer (Vice President)

Overview

In this role you will contribute to the Equity Technology team by building and maintaining Jefferies’ Global Securities Finance platform, serving front and middle office users across time zones. You will own core in-house platforms (on-prem and AWS) and drive projects from start to finish while collaborating with global teams. You will implement robust, tested solutions and support release cycles to ensure reliable performance. This opportunity blends finance domain with technical excellence in a fast-paced, international setting.

Responsibilities

• Develop core in-house platforms (on-prem and AWS)
• Own end-to-end projects from initiation to delivery
• Collaborate to set priorities with management and colleagues
• Perform unit testing and assist with user testing
• Coordinate with support and release management to deliver robust, performant solutions

Key requirements

• Strong .NET skills with server and client-side experience
• Follows SOLID development principles
• Strong SQL knowledge (MS SQL Server and/or MySQL)
• Understanding of Securities Lending desirable (e.g., Equity swaps)
• Proficiency with GitHub Copilot or Claude for productivity and code quality
