Overview

In this role, you will support advisory and execution across energy infrastructure and energy transition projects. You will work within a growing team that engages in M&A, capital raising, and strategic advisory for renewable energy, storage, grid, and related assets. You’ll interact with senior bankers and clients, coordinate multi-disciplinary workstreams, and contribute to deal execution while developing sector expertise. The position offers significant responsibility and a path toward leadership in live transactions. This is an opportunity to shape high-profile energy infrastructure outcomes and to deepen your client coverage and technical skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support buy-side and sell-side M&A execution in energy/infrastructure
  • Build and review complex financial models (DCF, precedent, comps, project finance, LBO/valuation)
  • Prepare materials (pitch books, information memoranda, management presentations, valuation slides, IC papers)
  • Coordinate due diligence across financial, commercial, technical, legal, and tax workstreams
  • Analyze companies, projects, and portfolios in renewable energy and infrastructure markets
  • Assist with equity and debt capital raising with infrastructure funds, PE, strategic investors, and lenders
  • Manage transaction workstreams and liaise with clients, counterparties, and advisers
  • Conduct market, company, and sector research to support origination and execution
  • Develop valuation and strategic analyses for senior management and boards
  • Review Analysts’ work and guide modelling, valuation, and transaction materials
  • Support senior bankers with business development and new proposals

Key requirements

  • 3–5 years in investment banking, corporate finance, M&A or related advisory
  • Strong transaction experience in energy, power, utilities, infrastructure or natural resources
  • Excellent financial modelling and valuation capabilities
  • Understanding of M&A processes and financial due diligence
  • Experience analyzing infrastructure or energy assets advantageous
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Confident written and verbal communication
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfort working with senior colleagues, clients and advisers
  • Strong academic background in finance, economics, engineering, mathematics or related discipline
