Mechanical Building Services Engineer

Overview

As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will lead the design and delivery of mechanical building services from concept to completion. You’ll work on HVAC and public health systems, perform calculations and specifications, and support BIM coordination. You’ll engage in client meetings and assist with site inspections and commissioning activities. Responsibilities

• Design and deliver mechanical building services from concept through to completion
• Work on HVAC and public health systems
• Produce technical calculations and specifications
• Support BIM coordination activities
• Attend client meetings
• Assist with site inspections and commissioning activities

Key requirements

• Experience within Mechanical Design
• Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or related discipline
• Knowledge of IES and Revit
• Understanding of UK building regulations and engineering standards
• Interest in sustainable and low-carbon building design
• Working towards chartership would be advantageous
