Overview

In this role you drive integrated BD and marketing activity to support growth for Osborne Clarke’s Disputes & Risk practice. You’ll work with partners and lawyers across the firm to shape campaigns, content, events and referrals, aligning with the 2030 strategy and sector-focused growth. You’ll manage budgets, measure ROI, and influence decisions that strengthen client relationships. This is a high-visibility role in a dynamic, collaborative team that values innovative approach and cross-functional impact.

Responsibilities

  • Lead growth initiatives aligned with the D&R service line marketing plans
  • Collaborate with sectors and other service lines to identify client opportunities
  • Develop referral relationships with external organisations
  • Deliver targeted events within budget and evaluate ROI
  • Draft and execute communications plans and maintain contact lists
  • Produce external content (brochures, emails, videos) with fee earners and Brand/Comms
  • Repurpose marketing content for social, podcasts, videos and website with Digital Channels
  • Create go-to-market documents (team sheets, credentials)
  • Advise on Legal Directories
  • SuperviseAssistants on selected projects

Key requirements

  • Significant BD/marketing experience in legal, professional services, B2B or similar environment
  • Experience working with a Disputes or related practice group
  • Client-focused mindset with emphasis on client experience and value
  • Highly organized with attention to detail and strong numeracy
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and assess effectiveness
  • Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence with new ideas
  • Data-informed decision making and recommendations
  • Confident briefing of partners and lawyers on sales/marketing initiatives
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to translate technical topics into client-focused messages
  • Self-assessment of projects and willingness to adjust approaches for efficiency
  • Excellent IT skills, with experience in InterAction or similar CRM
