Site Engineer

Overview

In this role you will deliver precise setting out and surveying for groundworks and reinforced concrete projects in London. You will work closely with site management, subcontractors and clients to ensure work aligns with design, programme and safety standards. You will perform QA checks and maintain accurate site records, shaping quality and efficiency on civil works. Responsibilities

• Set out and verify earthworks and RC frame elements to drawings and designs
• Conduct quality control checks and maintain site records
• Perform surveying tasks and manage technical queries on site
• Coordinate with site management, subcontractors and clients to ensure on-time delivery
• Ensure works comply with design, programme and safety requirements
• Support QA processes and documentation on site
• Interpret drawings and provide practical solutions to on-site challenges
• Use Leica, Trimble or equivalent surveying equipment to capture accurate data

Key requirements

• Experience with Civil Engineering, RC Frame or Groundworks contractors
• Strong setting-out experience on groundworks and RC frame projects
• Ability to interpret drawings and manage technical queries on site
• Experience carrying out QA checks and maintaining accurate site records
• Competent with Leica, Trimble or equivalent surveying equipment
• Degree or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or related construction discipline
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Site Engineer
