Overview
In this role, you will manage a varied EPL caseload for a leading UK law firm, defending liability claims and advising insurers on policy coverage issues. You will represent insured professionals and businesses, deliver timely client service, and contribute to team development and process improvements. The role blends litigation work with advisory responsibilities in a fast-paced, high-value practice. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive client outcomes and contribute to business development and reporting, in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities
- Manage EPL matters across defense, coverage, and advisory work
- Defend liability claims pre- and post-litigation
- Advise insurers on policy coverage issues including D&O and EPL
- Represent insured professionals and businesses
- Deliver high-quality client service aligned with SLAs and practices
- Contribute to team development, training, induction and process improvements
- Capture and collate Management Information for client reporting
- Support business development and client initiatives
Key requirements
- 4-5 years PQE with experience managing EPL claims
- Strong grounding in employment litigation; insurance experience desirable
- Good understanding of employment law and tribunal procedures
- Solid knowledge of legal procedures and case management
- Ability to deliver commercial, pragmatic solutions
- Confidence interacting with clients and building trusted relationships
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal IT systems
