Overview

In this role you will lead financial accounting, reporting and compliance for Bloomreach’s Dutch entities, ensuring US GAAP and local GAAP alignment. You’ll partner with Global Accounting and audit teams to drive accuracy, controls and governance, while shaping processes through automation and AI. You’ll own in-region accounting, statutory requirements, and tax for the Netherlands, contributing to the broader financial strategy in a multinational, fast-growing environment. This is a hands-on position with clear impact on reporting quality and regulatory readiness.

Responsibilities

  • Lead monthly, quarterly and annual close for Netherlands entities with a focus on accuracy and completeness
  • Provide deep-dive variance analysis for key accounts (gross margin, cloud costs, mobile costs, opex)
  • Prepare and review journal entries, payroll, and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Ensure financial statements comply with US GAAP and local GAAP
  • Serve as in-region SME on statutory requirements, multi-entity consolidations and taxes
  • Coordinate statutory audits with external auditors and manage audit cycles
  • Lead local tax compliance (indirect tax, corporate tax, transfer pricing) and tax provision
  • Strengthen financial controls and governance; document and improve key processes
  • Manage day-to-day cash management and forecast visibility; maintain local banking relationships
  • Drive process improvements leveraging systems, automation and AI

Key requirements

  • 8+ years of accounting/finance leadership experience in a US-parented multinational
  • Deep knowledge of local accounting requirements and ability to bridge local statutory requirements with US GAAP
  • Experience managing statutory accounts and full audit cycle with external auditors
  • Experience in a multinational company with centralized/shared-services model
  • Strong understanding of multi-currency consolidations, cash flow management, intercompany transactions and FX
  • Excellent communication skills across time zones and with US-based colleagues
  • Comfort with ambiguity and proactive in building scalable processes in a fast-growing environment
