Overview

In this role you will lead cyber assurance engagements for a portfolio of clients within the UK, contributing to the nation’s cyber resilience. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality assurance across cyber risk and regulatory frameworks, including NIS Regulations and CAF. The role emphasizes client relationship building, coaching junior members, and supporting business development to grow the Cyber Assurance practice. Responsibilities

  • Deliver Cyber Assurance engagements and collaborate with colleagues and clients
  • Support the engagement lifecycle from take-on to conclusion
  • Coach and develop junior team members
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships as day-to-day contact
  • Engage with client stakeholders and relevant authorities when appropriate
  • Develop sector-wide expertise and share knowledge with the team
  • Collaborate with colleagues from other service lines
  • Contribute to business development, practice management, and thought leadership
  • Promote an inclusive culture and support wellbeing and development initiatives
  • Commit to training, mentoring and career progression

Key requirements

  • UK Cyber Security Council registration as Chartered, Principle or Associate
  • Strong understanding of UK NIS Regulations and CAF
  • Broad experience in cyber internal audit and assurance across cyber domains
  • Experience with public sector engagements (Energy, Transport, Health, Defence)
  • Cyber qualifications such as CRISC, CISM, or CISSP
  • Experience engaging with senior client stakeholders and leading fieldwork, scoping, and reporting
  • Proven ability to build relationships with multiple stakeholders and work in diverse teams
  • Minimum 2.1 degree or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of cyber areas including governance, risk management, third-party risk, OT security, testing, and standards (NCSC CAF, ISO 27001, NIST 800-82, etc.)
  • Information Security audit & assurance qualifications such as ISO27001 Lead Auditor or CISA; OT or Cloud security qualifications are a plus
