Overview
In this role you will lead social storytelling for Stella McCartney, owning end-to-end content from conception to delivery across major platforms. You’ll work with the Content Strategy team to plan calendars, create standout video and static content, and manage community interactions. You will translate data into strategy, partner with cross-functional teams, and collaborate with global and local teams to amplify the brand’s voice. This is a hands-on, creative role for someone who is passionate about luxury fashion and digital storytelling.

Responsibilities
- Manage organic social channels and daily posts across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Pinterest, Snapchat; plan content calendars and community management
- Create and edit visual content (video and stills) from shoots and in-office production; own content briefing with Creative Services
- Analyze content performance and adjust strategy to improve engagement and reach
- Develop social content strategies, editorial content, and content pillars; work with Editorial team to amplify storytelling
- Write social copy with brand tone; attend events to brief, capture, and edit social content
- Coordinate with Global and local teams (China and Japan) to align assets, copy, and links for regional channels (Weibo, WeChat, RED, LINE)
- Build and maintain social grids and briefs; manage test accounts and upcoming campaigns
- Lead influencer and blogger collaborations, planning, execution, and content creation to boost engagement
- Develop KPIs, dashboards, and ongoing performance reviews; produce monthly and ad-hoc reports on owned and earned metrics
- Stay current on social platforms, emerging technologies, and fashion trends; conduct regular competitor research
- Deliver high-quality social content for a range of formats (clips, GIFs, graphics, stories) and be the brand’s voice across channels
- Collaborate with local teams on asset distribution and content localization for regional channels
- Support ongoing development of social media strategy and programming throughout the year
- Execute best practices across all platforms and manage briefs to Creative Services
Key requirements
- 3+ years’ experience in social media/content creation
- Strong editing skills across photo and video (Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Creative Suite)
- Proficiency with Canva or Google Docs/Sheets/Slides; Microsoft Office
- Portfolio demonstrating content ideas and execution
- Excellent English communication (written and verbal)
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and with multiple stakeholders
- Comfort being on camera and high energy for luxury fashion storytelling
- Experience with social analytics and reporting tools
- Knowledge of platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Pinterest; familiarity with emerging platforms
