In this role, you will support energy sector clients by shaping plans that align customer, regulator, and shareholder priorities from business and technical perspectives. You’ll work within PA’s Energy and Utilities practice to grow asset management capabilities, bridging regulatory, engineering, and digital language to deliver clear insights. You’ll engage with clients, manage multi-disciplinary teams, and contribute to the energy transition through practical asset strategies and plans. This is a delivery‑focused consulting opportunity with Hybrid work and strong client impact.

Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue opportunities with new and existing clients leveraging PA’s network
- Bridge regulatory, engineering, digital, and customer language to provide actionable insights
- Support the asset management team in asset planning, policy, and standard development
- Develop asset strategies and link them to holistic business decisions
- Deliver projects and programmes for energy infrastructure planning and operation
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and communicate clearly from boardroom to factory floor
- Contribute to client delivery and knowledge transfer in a consulting context
Key requirements
- Technical background or strong competencies in electricity or gas network asset planning or operation
- Familiarity with NESO, DSO, Net Zero drivers and regulatory incentives
- Experience with asset strategy and how it informs decision-making
- Programme delivery experience, including high-volume activities or major projects
- Experience with asset health, utilization, risk and resilience
- Delivery-oriented mindset and ability to work in teams with results focus
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across disciplines (data scientists, economists, engineers)
