Overview

As Business Programme Manager for CDSClear, you drive complex, strategic transformations across regulatory, resilience, and commercial domains. You coordinate business and technology delivery to meet objectives and governance standards, reporting to the Head of Transformation. You work with cross-functional teams to balance milestones, budgets, and dependencies while ensuring regulatory commitments and operational readiness. Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of complex transformation initiatives aligned with business objectives and regulatory commitments
• Own programmes from inception to delivery within change governance
• Create briefs, business cases, delivery plans and roadmaps
• Establish governance forums, controls, and reporting for integrated delivery
• Coordinate across Risk, Operations, Product, Technology, Legal, Compliance, Finance and Shared Services
• Manage critical path, milestones, dependencies and budgets to ensure on-time, in-scope delivery
• Act as primary delivery lead and provide status and recommendations to senior management
• Deliver regulatory and supervisory commitments coordinating business, operations and technology activities
• Identify and manage delivery risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies; escalate when needed
• Secure resources and maintain CDSClear roadmap to enable collaboration and timely decisions
• Collaborate with Lead Change Analyst to integrate requirements, impacts, testing and change activities
• Provide clear objectives and milestones to Lead Change Analyst, while preserving delivery ownership
• Ensure readiness, training, testing and transition activities support sustainable adoption
• Maintain integrated view of the CDSClear change portfolio with the Head of Transformation
• Chair steering committees and governance forums, recording actions and accountabilities
• Estimate, plan, track budgets and forecasts; support financial governance
• Build shared understanding of objectives, timelines and responsibilities

Key requirements

• Substantial experience leading complex, cross-functional programmes in financial services or highly regulated environments
• Delivery of programmes with significant technology change and process impacts across front-to-back operations
• Strong governance capabilities: planning, critical-path management, risk and issue control, budgeting and reporting
• Ability to translate regulatory and strategic commitments into executable delivery plans
• Knowledge of OTC derivatives, trade lifecycle, clearing and risk relevant to CDSClear
• Experience with business and change analysts, understanding interdependencies between delivery and analysis
• Strong grasp of software development lifecycle and testing
• Credibility to engage senior colleagues and drive decisions across boundaries
• Excellent written and verbal English communication for governance and leadership reporting
• Rigorous, curious, hands-on approach with focus on outcomes, collaboration and accountability
• Desirable: knowledge of credit derivatives lifecycle, regulatory changes, and cloud infrastructure awareness
• Desirable: PRINCE2 or PMP or equivalent qualification
