iManage DMS Consultant(Specialist I – Product Implementation)

Overview

As an iManage DMS SME in a London-based, hybrid contract, you will lead migration and ongoing administration of iManage environments. You partner with cross-functional teams to plan, execute, and validate migrations, while ensuring quality, compliance, and smooth BAU operations. You’ll build in-house capability through documentation and training, reducing vendor dependency. This role offers impact across migration programs and platform optimization in a document-intensive setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end iManage document migrations (discovery, planning, execution, validation, reconciliation, sign-off).
• Assess and manage iManage environments (workspaces, libraries, metadata, taxonomy, permissions, document structures).
• Define migration strategies and resolve complex issues to ensure quality and compliance.
• Perform hands-on iManage administration and configuration (workspace mgmt, metadata governance, taxonomy, user access).
• Troubleshoot complex platform, integration, and performance issues.
• Collaborate with business, engineering, infrastructure, security, vendors, and support teams to deliver migration and BAU outcomes.
• Develop technical documentation, runbooks, playbooks, and support procedures.
• Drive knowledge transfer and build internal iManage capability to reduce external dependency.

Key requirements

• Strong hands-on iManage DMS administration and configuration.
• Proven experience leading DMS migration projects.
• Expertise in workspaces, libraries, metadata, taxonomy, document classes, and permissions.
• Experience with migration mapping, validation, reconciliation, and exception management.
• Ability to independently troubleshoot complex iManage and DMS issues.
• Strong stakeholder management with cross-functional collaboration experience.
• Experience creating technical documentation, operational playbooks, and training internal teams.
