Overview
In this role, you protect personal data and uphold trust by advising on privacy obligations and embedding privacy by design. You collaborate across business, technology, legal, compliance, and risk to integrate privacy into products, processes, and AI solutions. You’ll lead privacy trainings and manage incident response to regulatory standards while balancing business needs. This is a collaborative, impact-driven position at a global company with a strong commitment to doing the right thing.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert advice on privacy and data protection requirements (UK GDPR, EU GDPR, ePrivacy, AI-related privacy obligations)
- Embed Privacy by Design into new products, technologies, processes, and strategic initiatives
- Lead privacy-focused forums and trainings to raise awareness and ensure compliance
- Oversee daily incident assignments, investigations, and response activities per regulatory requirements
- Review business initiatives to identify privacy risks and compliance obligations
Key requirements
- Experience in privacy, data protection, compliance, risk, legal, governance, or related field
- Strong understanding of privacy principles and data protection requirements
- Ability to assess risks, solve problems, and provide clear, practical advice
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across teams and levels
- Collaborative mindset and willingness to learn and support others
- Sound judgement balancing regulatory requirements with business objectives
- Interest in emerging technologies, data-driven innovation, and evolving privacy landscape
