Overview

In this role you will sustain daily production while driving long-term improvement projects across diffusion-related processes. You’ll split time between reactive production support and proactive process development, collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet yield and process capability targets. You’ll work with furnacing, wafer cleaning, sputtering, passivation, evaporation and rapid thermal processing, contributing to efficiency, quality and cost improvements. The position offers a clear development path in a dynamic, technically varied fab environment. This is a hands-on role with a strong impact on manufacturing performance and product readiness.

  • salary 54,000-66,000 DOE

Responsibilities

  • Sustain and improve mechanical and electrical yields to meet targets
  • Monitor and improve Cpk levels across processes, coordinating metrology R&R studies
  • Review, track and report process performance per factory policy
  • Deliver technical improvement projects focused on yield, cost, throughput and process capability
  • Support new product and platform development through process development activities
  • Create and maintain Wafer Fab Operator Instructions
  • Ensure adherence to departmental procedures and quality standards

Key requirements

  • Semiconductor industry experience as a Process Engineer
  • HND or Degree in a relevant STEM discipline
  • Strong problem-solving skills and initiative
  • Excellent communication skills, working across teams
  • Good priority management and ability to work under pressure
  • Competent with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Ability to work a rotating 12-hour shift pattern (days and nights)
