Overview
Senior-level role in a nationally recognised clean energy practice, based in Bristol with hybrid working. You will advise on major clean energy projects and transactions, working closely with senior partners and cross-functional teams. The role focuses on structuring and negotiating EPC, O&M, and other project agreements, supporting developments and disposals, and mentoring junior lawyers. You will contribute to sector growth and sustainability goals while shaping high-profile infrastructure matters. Responsibilities
- Advise on BESS supply agreements with global manufacturers
- Draft and negotiate EPC contracts, O&M agreements, and LTSAs
- Manage component warranties and related commercial documentation
- Support clean energy project developments, acquisitions, and disposals
- Collaborate with colleagues across construction, real estate, corporate, finance, planning, and environment
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to strategic sector growth
Key requirements
- At least 4 years PQE in construction, commercial, or projects within the clean energy sector
- Experience with transactional matters or infrastructure projects involving BESS, solar PV, wind, hydro, biogas, hydrogen, EV charging, or district heating
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills
