Overview
In this role you will lead high-stakes forensic accounting and financial dispute work across litigation, arbitration and alternative dispute resolution. You will shape and grow a bespoke forensic practice within a private consultancy, collaborating with leadership and the wider expert team. Expect to manage scoping, strategy, detailed financial analysis, and expert reports, with opportunities to testify where appropriate. You’ll build client relationships and help establish the firm as a recognized provider of expert witness services.

Responsibilities
- Lead complex forensic accounting and financial dispute assignments across litigation and arbitration
- Drive scoping, strategy and detailed financial analysis for cases
- Prepare expert reports and, where appropriate, give evidence in arbitration, mediation or court
- Shape and grow the forensic accounting practice, including client development and origin of opportunities
- Recruit, mentor and develop junior team members
- Collaborate with law firms, Counsel, corporates and senior stakeholders
- Develop market profile and own the direction of the service line
- Work across international disputes with a multidisciplinary expert witness platform
Key requirements
- Chartered Accountant – ACA, ACCA or equivalent
- Significant forensic accounting and disputes experience
- Experience preparing or contributing to expert witness reports
- Experience leading significant litigation or arbitration assignments
- Ability to communicate complex financial issues clearly in writing and speech
- Experience developing and mentoring teams
- Established network within legal and disputes community
- For Partner level: proven ability to originate work and hold a market profile
- For Director level: strong expert witness and disputes background and desire to build own profile
