Senior Cost Manager – Real Estate

Overview

In this role you guide client projects through feasibility, cost planning, procurement, tendering and post-contract delivery as a client-facing representative. You will collaborate with consultant and client teams and contribute to digital cost-management transformation. The position offers exposure to iconic UK projects across sectors such as city centre developments, manufacturing, logistics and residential schemes. You will support Directors on high-profile assignments and help grow the team with your经验.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates and cost plans for projects
• Conduct feasibility studies and cost planning until final plan
• Lead tendering and procurement activities including pre-qualification, tender analysis and contract documentation
• Monitor timely and accurate financial reporting and valuations
• Interface with clients and consultants at all stages
• Manage post-contract cost variances and change control processes
• Provide input on value engineering and negotiate final accounts
• Mentor junior team members and share experience with the wider team

Key requirements

• Proven track record in cost management / quantity surveying across full project lifecycle
• Ideally professionally qualified (RICS or similar)
• Degree or HNC level qualification
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
