Overview
As Group Financial Controller, you will partner with the CFO to own core financial reporting and drive commercial development. You’ll consolidate UK and overseas entities, maintain the control environment, and support strategic planning and growth through robust budgeting and financial modelling. You’ll manage working capital, cashflow forecasting, and banking covenant reporting, while overseeing tax compliance and integration of new acquisitions. This role blends hands-on finance leadership with cross-location collaboration in a technology services context, offering development and impact.

Responsibilities
- Produce quarterly consolidated reporting for UK and foreign entities
- Prepare individual and consolidated group financial statements
- Review monthly management accounts
- Develop and maintain the financial control environment
- Produce company/group business plan and budget
- Manage working capital and cashflow with regular forecasting
- Prepare periodic financial returns to banks and monitor banking covenants
- Collaborate with CFO on business cases and financial models for new sites/customers
- Integrate new companies into the group
- Own tax compliance (VAT, corporation tax, payroll, CIS)
- Liaise with insurance brokers and other advisors
- Team management
Key requirements
- Qualified Chartered Accountant from a top accounting firm
