Overview
As a Senior Project / Programme Planner you will support the Midlands team from Nottingham or Birmingham, applying specialist programme software expertise to plan and deliver high-quality projects. You will work with Business Unit Directors to meet objectives, nurture customer relationships, and ensure services align with client requirements. You’ll administer contracts, mentor colleagues, and prepare bids, contributing to profitable service delivery. This role combines governance, client interaction, and technical planning within a global property consultancy focused on sustainable, value-driven delivery.

Responsibilities
- Support Business Unit Directors in achieving objectives
- Engage with customers to grow and maintain relationships
- Deliver high-quality services and ensure they meet customer requirements
- Manage projects/programmes per business procedures
- Administer contracts as Contract Administrator, Employer’s Agent, or Project Manager
- Produce and present to customers
- Mentor and coach employees
- Prepare bids for services
- Manage service delivery for profit
- Advise directors of issues impacting projects and PI insurance
Key requirements
- Post-qualification project/programme management experience
- Knowledge of project management techniques
- Ability to administer construction contracts as Contract Administrator, Employer’s Agent, or Project Manager
- Understanding of legislation affecting building contracts
- Excellent oral and written communication
- Methodical approach and ability to absorb complex information
- Strong problem solving, negotiating, financial, and numeracy skills
- Strong ICT skills (MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
