Litigation Executive – Catastrophic Injury – Bristol

Overview

In this role you support senior partners in high‑value catastrophic injury defence work for major insurers and corporates. You will handle serious personal injury matters, from medical chronology to complex evidence management, collaborating across expert teams and counsel. The position sits in a Tier 1 catastrophic injury practice with exposure to nationally significant and cross‑border matters. You contribute to training junior staff and help drive efficient, innovative litigation processes within a supportive team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed medical chronologies
• Arrange expert appointments and conferences with counsel
• Assist with disclosure and evidence management
• Support investigation and progression of large, complex claims
• Help train and mentor a junior Litigation Associate

Key requirements

• 5-6+ years’ experience in personal injury defence litigation
• Strong background assisting on large or complex cases
• Confident communicator with excellent written skills
• Highly organised, proactive and team‑oriented
• Ability to handle sensitive, high profile matters with professionalism
