Overview
In this role you help drive high-value corporate and investment work in the energy and infrastructure sector, shaping transactions for developers, investors and asset managers. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated advice amid a dynamic energy transition. You’ll lead complex M&A, investments and governance matters, contributing to the growth of a market-leading energy practice. Responsibilities
- Lead and advise on M&A, acquisitions, disposals and joint ventures in energy & infrastructure
- Advise on investments in renewable and clean energy projects (solar, storage, wind, etc.)
- Support corporate governance, ESG and ethical investment matters
- Advise on development finance and project-related corporate structuring
- Work with multidisciplinary teams on complex transactions
- Play an active role in client development, profile-raising and team leadership
Key requirements
- Qualified lawyer in England & Wales (or equivalent)
- Strong experience in corporate transactions within energy or infrastructure
- Demonstrable exposure to renewables, clean energy or energy storage projects
- Commercial, solutions-focused and able to manage complex stakeholder environments
- Interest in sustainability and evolving energy landscape
- Experience mentoring or supervising junior lawyers (advantageous)
