Business Intelligence Analyst

Overview

In this role you will translate unclear business questions into clear problems, then turn data into trusted, actionable insights within a remote, collaborative marketing team. You’ll develop MVP dashboards and iteratively improve them based on real-user feedback, communicating outcomes to non-technical stakeholders. You’ll design data models that reflect business logic, document your data products, and seek opportunities to automate and scale processes. Your work supports cross-functional decision-making and continuous, data-driven improvement.

Responsibilities

• Turn unclear requests into clear business problems through structured discovery
• Assess data availability and quality; transform raw data into clean datasets for reporting
• Design data models that reflect real business logic
• Build MVP dashboards and iterate with user feedback
• Communicate insights to non-technical stakeholders
• Document data products and processes for reuse
• Contribute to the team by sharing knowledge and supporting others

Key requirements

• 2 years of experience in data analytics (implied)
• Prefers majors in Maths, Economics, Statistics or other STEM fields
• Ability to explore, assess, analyze and transform data into clean datasets
• Ability to build dashboards with Power BI or Tableau
• Ability to structure work as reusable data products with documented logic and calculations
• Knowledge of descriptive and univariate statistics to support decision-making
