Overview
In this role you will join Turner & Townsend’s Glasgow Cost Management team to shape project cost control on energy initiatives. You will work with high-profile clients to monitor budgets, forecast costs, and manage contract changes, ensuring governance and value delivery. The role offers hybrid working and opportunities to grow across renewables projects. You will collaborate with client and contractor teams to drive cost accuracy and performance, supporting the firm’s Net Zero mission.

Responsibilities
- Administer contracts aligned with project objectives and policies
- Provide accurate cost monitoring, forecasting and reporting to completion within budget
- Proactively monitor cost variance, cash flow, and timely applications
- Collaborate with client and contractor teams on deliverables, KPIs, programme performance, cost control and value engineering
- Manage contract changes to maintain governance and best practice
- Drive improvements in forecast accuracy and budget quality
Key requirements
- Experience in the renewables sector, hydrogen, carbon capture
- Degree or HNC level qualification
- Knowledge of NEC 3/4
