Overview

In this role, you support ASOS’s Physical Security Team to protect colleagues, properties and assets while minimising risk across offices and the supply chain. You will work with office and field teams, implementing risk mitigation techniques and maintaining security systems. The position blends hands-on investigations, system administration and continuous development in a fast-paced retail environment. You contribute to a culture of trust, collaboration and disruption-free operations, helping ASOS deliver a secure shopping experience globally.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain reliability and support for physical security systems and compliance
  • Assist with integration, administration, and development of security systems (access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, video intercoms, turnstiles)
  • Support preventive maintenance to reduce downtime
  • Maintain and improve security documents and SharePoint records
  • Coordinate with 3rd party suppliers on travel risk assessments and threat mitigation
  • Use Open-Source Intelligence to monitor threats
  • Analyse loss data and visualise findings to drive risk reduction
  • Create and manage procedural/security control documents and evidence for audits
  • Produce ad-hoc reports and advise on live issues
  • Assist Internal Audit & Risk in incident response planning
  • Participate in investigations from data gathering to police reports and court testimony
  • Assist in counter-terrorism training with external agencies
  • Assess business trips for anomalies to mitigate future risk
  • Coordinate with other teams and initiatives impacting security
  • Conduct facility security assessments via vulnerability testing and risk analysis
  • Support Diversity, Equity & Inclusion initiatives
