Senior Construction PI Underwriter

Overview

In this role you will underwrite Construction PI risks for a Global Insurer, handling renewals and new business. You will implement portfolio strategies to improve loss ratio and manage broker partnerships across North America, International and UK markets. You will act as the Construction PI product expert and help develop junior team members. This is a hands-on, cross-border role that combines technical underwriting with relationship leadership and knowledge sharing.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite individual Construction PI risks for renewals and new business
• Implement portfolio management strategies to improve loss ratio
• Manage relationships with broker partners, including visits
• Act as product expert for Construction PI
• Train and mentor junior team members

Key requirements

• Reputation underwriting Construction PI, ideally US and international
• Experience with Architects, Engineers, Construction Professionals, Property Owners/Developers
• Strong network of broker contacts in the PI space
