Overview
In this role you will lead the expansion of the strategic asset management offering within a respected M&E division. You will liaise with clients, oversee a dedicated asset management team, and ensure high technical output across surveys, planning and procurement. You help shape maintenance strategies, lifecycle costing, and capital planning while delivering projects to schedule. The position combines hands-on site work with leadership in a growing, award-winning firm that values development and excellence.
Responsibilities
- Liaise with clients and support marketing initiatives
- Conduct condition and dilapidation surveys; lifecycle costing; strategic planning
- Carry out compliance auditing, fault finding and problem solving
- Prepare asset schedules and maintenance audits
- Produce PPM plans and Engineering Life Cycle / Forward Capital Cost plans
- Interpret engineering reports, drawings, layouts and other visual aids
- Monitor and audit engineering maintenance contracts
- On-site inspections and reporting for due diligence and dilapidations
- Oversee maintenance procurement including asset collection and tender documentation
- Lead an M&E team in coordinating and delivering projects, including meetings and progress reviews
Key requirements
- Experience leading an M&E team or maintenance projects
- Strong client liaison and project coordination skills
- Knowledge of condition surveys, lifecycle costing and PPM planning
- Experience with procurement, tenders and contract monitoring
- Ability to interpret technical reports and drawings
- On-site inspection and due diligence experience
- Track record of delivering projects within time and budget
- Comfort with cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management
