Responsibilities
- conduct original research in cutting-edge AI with focus on perception and action
- teach undergraduate and master’s level courses
- supervise undergraduate, master’s, and PhD student projects
- develop and articulate a long-term research strategy with future plans
- collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to the department’s research agenda
Key requirements
- PhD (or near completion) in a related field
- strong research track record in AI
- ability to teach UG and MSc courses
- experience supervising student projects at multiple levels
- interest in topics such as continual/open-ended AI, agentic AI, embodied perception and action, reinforcement learning, and decision-making under uncertainty
