Overview
In this role you will lead civil engineering design and delivery across new build and refurbishment projects, mentoring a small team and shaping drainage, flood mitigation, and highway design solutions. Responsibilities
- Lead the design and delivery of civil engineering solutions for development projects
- Manage and mentor a small design team and oversee technical development
- Design below-ground drainage networks including SuDS for buildings, highways, and public spaces
- Contribute to flood mitigation strategies and manage flood-prone sites
- Support highway, pavement design, and ground modeling initiatives
Key requirements
- Experience in civil engineering
- Chartered or near Chartered status with ICE
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in WinDes (Microdrainage), Civil 3D, and BIM tools
- Experience in leading design projects and managing a small team
- Expertise in SuDS strategies and detailed drainage design
