Solution Architect

Overview

In this role you will design end-to-end technology solutions that align with business goals, acting as the bridge between senior stakeholders and delivery teams. You will contribute to architecture governance and define integration approaches across enterprise apps and cloud services. The position supports large-scale transformation and modernization, ensuring secure, scalable and high-performing solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional groups to translate requirements into practical design and guidance.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end technology solutions aligned to business goals and architecture principles
• Produce high-level solution designs and review low-level technical designs
• Translate business requirements into practical technology solutions
• Bridge between senior stakeholders and technical delivery teams
• Contribute to architecture governance, standards, design patterns and best practices
• Define integration approaches across enterprise applications, SaaS platforms and cloud services
• Support large-scale transformation and modernization programmes
• Evaluate technology options and recommend build vs buy decisions
• Ensure solutions meet security, scalability, resilience and performance requirements
• Mentor technical leads and develop architecture capability within the organization

Key requirements

• Strong experience in Solution Architecture in complex enterprise environments
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft technologies, cloud services and SaaS platforms
• Experience delivering application, integration and cloud architecture solutions
• Strong stakeholder management skills with ability to engage C-suite and technical teams
• Experience producing HLDs and reviewing technical designs
• Strong understanding of APIs, integration patterns and enterprise app architecture
• Experience supporting cloud transformation, application modernization and migration
• Exposure to AI technologies, Microsoft AI services or enterprise AI programmes
• Broad architectural mindset across solution, enterprise, data and business architecture
• Experience working within TOGAF-aligned or similar architecture frameworks
• Excellent communication and influencing skills
