Overview

As a Senior Associate in the Corporate team in Bristol, you will lead high-value transactions and provide strategic advisory across M&A, private equity and venture capital. You’ll collaborate with a national team to deliver complex deals for listed and private clients, while mentoring junior colleagues and contributing to business development. This role offers exposure to market-leading transactions and a strong platform for professional growth within a respected national practice.

Responsibilities

• Lead on significant corporate transactions and strategic advisory work
• Coordinate cross-team efforts on M&A, private equity, venture capital and corporate advisory matters
• Advise diverse clients including listed and private companies, PE/VC-backed businesses, and management teams
• Provide in-person training and support to develop junior colleagues
• Represent the team at regional and national networking and business development events
• Contribute to the team’s business development strategy and profile-raising initiatives
• Supervise and mentor Paralegals, Trainees, and Associates

Key requirements

• Qualified Solicitor with 3+ years PQE
• Experience in mid-market M&A, private equity and venture capital
• Strong communication and relationship-building abilities
• Track record in business development and client retention
• Commercially minded with ability to understand client objectives
• Collaborative team player with interest in developing junior colleagues
