Overview
In this placement you will support defence-focused engineering programmes by coordinating planning, design, integration and testing activities. You’ll work with multi-disciplinary teams to meet programme requirements and contribute to project documentation, risk and change management. You’ll gain structured development under mentors, building skills for engineering leadership. This role offers practical experience on high-impact national defence and public safety projects and potential progression to our graduate programme.

Responsibilities
- plan and deliver engineering projects in collaboration with engineers and project teams
- coordinate design, integration and testing activities to meet programme requirements
- contribute to project documentation
- track progress against schedules
- help manage risks, changes, and stakeholder requirements
- engage with suppliers and support technical reviews
- contribute to problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives
Key requirements
- pursuing an undergraduate degree in engineering
- preferred: Electrical Engineering or Systems Engineering
- ability to achieve and maintain BPSS and Security Check (SC) clearance
