In this role you will support Burges Salmon’s renowned rail and transport disputes practice, advising on high-profile, nationally significant matters. You will work with a leading team to manage contentious risks across contracts, rolling stock, infrastructure, safety incidents and regulatory issues, contributing to the firm’s sector leadership. You’ll collaborate with senior partners to deliver commercially-focused guidance to operators, regulators and infrastructure clients. - Manage contentious rail and transport disputes and risk assessments
- Advise on public service contracts, procurements, regulatory matters and safety incidents
- Support high-profile, cross-border disputes and complex commercial issues
- Collaborate with partners to deliver practical, commercially-focused legal strategies
- Support business development and maintain strong client relationships
Key requirements
- Strong experience in the rail and transport industry with exposure to managing contentious matters
- SRA-qualified lawyer
