ETF as a Service Business Development – VP – State Street Investment Management

Overview

In this VP role, you lead the industrialization of ETF manufacturing and onboarding for third‑party clients, working across regions to deliver scalable launches. You’ll own global onboarding frameworks and act as a senior execution owner for complex ETF launches, ensuring discipline and consistency. You will drive cross‑functional collaboration across funds management, legal, compliance, and operations, shaping platform infrastructure and pricing. This strategically visible position centers on scalable, high‑quality execution that underpins commercial sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve global onboarding frameworks and scalable playbooks
• Lead complex ETF launches across US and international markets
• Drive cross‑functional orchestration across funds management, legal, compliance, capital markets, operations, and technology
• Lead business development for ETF as a Service mandates and partner with distribution
• Develop and manage senior client relationships post mandate win for launch and scale
• Set and enforce execution standards to improve launch consistency and timeline discipline
• Monitor cost of manufacturing and identify efficiency improvements
• Develop standardized pricing frameworks across regions and client segments
• Industrialize platform infrastructure, processes, and controls for global scale
• Contribute to standardized documentation, governance frameworks, and decision templates
• Identify bottlenecks and drive scalable, sustainable improvements
• Partner with senior stakeholders to balance commercial, operational, and risk considerations

Key requirements

• 7+ years in ETF product, investment management, capital markets, platform operations, digital wealth, or top tier consulting
• Experience across UCITS and 40 Act ETF structures preferred
• Proven track record leading cross‑functional initiatives in global or multi‑jurisdictional environments
• Deep exposure to ETF structures, fund launches, pricing models, or platform economics
• Strong commercial judgment with advanced analytical and financial modelling capability
• Proven ability to deliver client solutions and manage strategic engagements
• Highly structured thinker able to operate in fast moving environments
• Proven capability to influence senior stakeholders and drive alignment without formal authority
