Director, Valuation Services

Overview

In this role you will lead valuations for tax, commercial, financial reporting, and contentious matters within Menzies’ Valuation Services. You’ll work closely with cross‑firm teams, manage client relationships, and contribute to business development while mentoring junior colleagues. The position offers exposure to high‑impact projects in a collaborative environment that values knowledge sharing and continuous improvement. You’ll apply diverse valuation methodologies to deliver high‑quality written work and strategic insights. Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver valuations across multiple methodologies and standards
• Manage client relationships and collaborate with cross‑functional teams
• Contribute to business development and growth of junior team members
• Draft high‑quality written valuation reports and expert findings
• Mentor and develop staff, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous improvement
• Support management with thought leadership and process improvements

Key requirements

• 5+ years of hands‑on business valuations experience
• Strong technical understanding of financial statements
• ACA, ACCA, or CFA qualified (or equivalent)
• Proficiency with analytical tools (e.g., S&P Capital IQ)
• Proven ability to manage multiple assignments and build client relationships
• Effective communication and team leadership skills
• Experience in drafting expert reports is a plus
