Overview
As an Enterprise Account Executive at Stripe, you will drive growth by owning high-potential accounts and expanding Stripe’s footprint within financial services. You’ll lead cross-functional collaborations, from early strategy to final negotiations, to deliver meaningful business value. The role blends strategic account planning, technical alignment, and executive engagement to close complex deals. You’ll work closely with product, engineering, and finance teams to shape solutions that scale. This is a chance to impact Stripe’s growth engine in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Own a named account list and develop plans for pursuing large digital native and enterprise clients
- Develop outbound strategies to create and nurture opportunities
- Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to close and go live
- Lead commercial negotiations to optimize revenue and market share
- Cultivate relationships with executive stakeholders at prospective users
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and finance teams to conduct product workshops and build financial analyses
- Lead and contribute to team projects to refine the sales process
- Engage with cross-functional teams (Partners, Post Sales, Product, Engineering) to drive Stripe’s strategy
Key requirements
- 8+ years of sales experience, preferably at a technology company
- Ability to manage high-activity pipelines and close qualified deals
- Ability to understand complex business problems and craft multi-product solutions
- Ability to develop and execute cross-organizational account plans
- Strong presentation skills for multi-stakeholder meetings
- Proven capability to lead complex, bespoke negotiations
- Superior verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to operate in a highly ambiguous and fast-paced environment
