Overview
In this role you will lead audits from start to finish for a varied client base in Glasgow, including corporate and charity work. You’ll supervise junior staff, manage timescales and budgets, and prepare accounts from trial balance with proper disclosures. Responsibilities
- Lead audits from planning through to completion and review
- Supervise and mentor junior team members
- Liaise with clients to gather information and communicate findings
- Prepare statutory accounts from trial balance with appropriate disclosures
- Ensure audit adjustments are identified and applied
- Manage timelines and budgets for assigned engagements
- Collaborate with other teams for integrated service delivery
Key requirements
- Current or recent UK Audit and Accounts experience in a UK practice firm
- Strong client management and organisational skills
- Ability to lead audits and oversee accounts preparation from trial balance
