Overview

In this role you will oversee commercial activities for a Central London residential developer, guiding tender processes, budgets, and financial appraisals. You will lead part of the commercial team and report to the Commercial Director, ensuring timely delivery across multiple projects. Responsibilities

• Manage the tender process: collate documents, respond to contractor queries, produce tender reports
• Maintain budget control across projects
• Prepare financial project appraisals
• Manage part of the commercial team
• Report directly to the Commercial Director

Key requirements

• 5 years’ experience as Commercial Manager or similar senior role
• Degree Qualified
• Accreditation to a professional body desirable
• Strong understanding of construction procurement, cost, financial control and budgets
• Comprehensive knowledge of managing the full development process from inception to completion
• Ability to interpret construction and design programmes and liaise with departments
• Proven ability to compile detailed reports
• Experience working on multiple projects simultaneously
• Proven team management capabilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and related software
