Overview

As Director – ESG, you lead a high-impact ESG team within a 900-strong building services consultancy. You steer the development and delivery of complex, high-profile projects for clients across public and private sectors, advancing decarbonisation and net-zero aims. You’ll shape sustainability frameworks, climate-resilient built environments, and nature-based solutions, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive real estate projects and infrastructure assessments. This is a strategic, growth-focused role with broad external impact and leadership responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the ESG team and oversee project delivery
• Develop and maintain a pipeline of complex ESG projects
• Deliver net-zero/low-carbon masterplans and decarbonisation strategies
• Establish sustainability frameworks across public and private clients
• Apply nature-based solutions to projects
• Conduct environmental assessment across key infrastructure projects
• Champion real estate project experience within client engagements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders across the UK
