Manager – Financial Services (Insurance), Programme Leadership

Overview

In this role you will support complex, multi-year programmes within Deloitte’s Major Programmes practice. You’ll help design and set up major programmes and lead transformation workstreams to deliver change on time and on budget. You will manage delivery, risk, and financial controls while growing client relationships and shaping proposals. You’ll work across cross-functional teams and contribute to Deloitte’s Programme Aerodynamics approach, enabling ambitious programmes to achieve measurable value. This is a hybrid, London or Manchester-based opportunity in a collaborative, impact-driven culture.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the design and development of major programmes, including strategy, setup and delivery
• Lead transformation workstreams with plan development and management of critical paths and interdependencies
• Manage progress delivery: reporting, risk management and financial controls
• Support growth of client relationships and assist proposals to win work
• Support development of propositions, solutions and industry viewpoints
• Demonstrate presentation, facilitation and communication skills across client and Deloitte stakeholders

Key requirements

• Project/Programme/PMO management experience with plan development across workstreams
• Proven delivery experience in Financial Services: Finance/Actuarial Transformation; Org & Op Model Transformation; Digital/Cloud transformation; regulatory; cost reduction
• Experience in multi-disciplinary teams delivering change in fast-paced environments
• Ability to manage client/stakeholder relationships at all levels
• Problem solving with high attention to detail
• Self-starter with motivation and professional development mindset
• Experience in consulting or professional services or as a customer of a professional services partner
• Preferred: programme strategy, delivery models, business case development, M&A; operating model design; risk management and commercial awareness
