Project Controls Engineer – Infrastructure

Overview

As a Project Controls Engineer you will support performance reporting and analysis within the Infrastructure team. You will collate progress and cost data from multiple disciplines to update schedules and budgets, and prepare monthly progress reports. You’ll help uphold governance and assurance of project controls processes alongside the Project Controls Manager. This role blends data-driven reporting with hands-on project delivery in a dynamic environment, offering exposure to large-scale programmes.

Responsibilities

• Collate progress data from multi-discipline teams to update project/programme schedule in Primavera P6
• Collate cost data from multi-discipline teams to support budget requests & update cost report
• Prepare monthly reports measuring progress against baseline
• Support the Project Controls Manager in applying governance & assurance of Project Controls processes

Key requirements

• Graduate in a relevant discipline with some experience in a project control environment
• Proactive, self-starter with well-developed communications and analytical skills
• Experience in project or programme management with responsibility for delivery or controls
• Experience using Primavera (P6), Power BI, Microsoft Office Applications
• Reliable, autonomous and a team player
• Strong time management, quick thinking and ability to meet deadlines
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated understanding of Project Controls concepts
