Solution Architect

Overview

In this role you design and implement scalable, secure IT solutions across multiple cloud platforms to align with business goals and strategic initiatives. You will mentor less experienced colleagues and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive enterprise software and infrastructure improvements. You’ll contribute to governance, security, and risk management while shaping technical direction for Work Winning and change projects. The position emphasizes leadership, broad stakeholder engagement, and delivering value through robust architecture.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy scalable, secure cloud architectures across multiple platforms (AWS, Oracle, Microsoft)
• Produce High Level Designs (HLDs) for projects
• Participate in governance activities (Vendor Due Diligence, Data Protection Impact Assessments, Technical Design Authority)
• Support Work Winning teams on IT elements and ensure integration with existing IT architecture
• Ensure solutions meet security and compliance requirements
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams
• Identify opportunities for technology advancement and system integration
• Influence IT strategic planning and assist decision-making
• Evaluate new technologies for business value
• Facilitate clear communication between IT and business units
• Drive continuous improvement in IT practices and processes
• Oversee project timelines and deliverables to align with business goals
• Assess and mitigate IT architecture and data security risks

Key requirements

• Proficient in multi-cloud environments (AWS, Oracle, Microsoft)
• Strong understanding of enterprise construction software and general IT infrastructure knowledge
• Familiarity with IT security best practices and standards
• Experience with system integration patterns, APIs, middleware, and data migration strategies
• Ability to conduct feasibility assessments and risk analysis
• Experience with vendor evaluation, solution comparison, and governance processes
• Demonstrable technical leadership and clear communication skills
• Track record of stakeholder engagement between business and technical teams
