Manager – BCG Vantage – Tech Capital in Principal Investors and Private Equity

Overview

As Manager – BCG Vantage, you guide Private Equity and Tech Capital insights within a global team, building and deploying knowledge assets to support case work and business development. You partner with case teams, leaders, and junior colleagues to structure and solve complex issues, and you contribute to the commercialization of IP and go-to-market efforts. You may line-manage junior staff and drive career development. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, data assets, and client impact in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Solve complex client problems in PE due diligence, especially for software/tech capital
• Drive development and maintenance of knowledge assets, tools, and sector materials
• Engage senior stakeholders with clear, impactful communication
• Manage a portfolio of projects with awareness of business priorities and commercial impact
• Train, coach, and mentor junior team members
• Navigate a dynamic, ambiguous environment in a fast-paced setting

Key requirements

• 3+ years of consulting experience in PE and/or Tech Capital (preferred)
• In lieu of consulting: 4+ years of industry experience (6–10+ preferred)
• Bachelor’s Degree; advanced degree preferred
• Expertise in PE DD and/or Tech Capital projects
• Fluency in English
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills for global collaboration
