In this role you will lead transactional work in agriculture and estates for a national practice, based in Cardiff with hybrid flexibility. You will handle a broad range of matters—from sales and mortgages to tenancy management and tax planning—while collaborating across a supportive team. You’ll develop specialist knowledge, contribute to business development, and help shape client relationships. This is an opportunity to influence outcomes on biodiversity and natural capital projects within a dynamic property group.

Responsibilities
- Advise on sales, purchases and mortgages within agriculture and estates
- Manage estate matters including agricultural tenancies and tenanted property
- Advise on tax and succession planning related to land and farming assets
- Engage in conservation and natural capital projects
- Work on biodiversity net gain agreements
- Develop specialist knowledge and collaborate across the wider team
- Engage in business development and referral opportunities
Key requirements
- 4-8 years PQE
- Experience in agricultural law or broader property work
- Strong technical and drafting skills
- Ability to manage client relationships and work collaboratively
