Project Manager

Overview

In this hybrid role based in Whiteley, you will drive delivery of complex air traffic management projects for NATS, shaping safer and more efficient flight operations. You’ll work closely with the Programme Manager and leadership to manage plans, dependencies, risks, and outcomes that impact critical infrastructure. You will engage with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to enable successful programme delivery. This is a mission-driven opportunity to influence airspace modernization and international operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate project activities to support successful programme delivery
• Develop and maintain robust project plans aligned to commitments
• Monitor progress, dependencies, and challenges
• Proactively manage risks, issues, opportunities, and mitigation plans
• Provide clear project reporting to leadership and stakeholders
• Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal teams
• Support decision-making through planning, analysis, and stakeholder engagement

Key requirements

• Experience delivering projects or programmes in a structured environment
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
• Ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams and organisations
• Good commercial and business awareness, including planning, finance, and resource management
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills
