We are working with a growing national financial planning and wealth management business, backed by a major UK investment and wealth management group, as it continues to expand its presence across Northern Ireland.

Following investment in its Belfast operation, the business is looking to appoint two experienced Financial Advisers to support its continued growth across the region.

This is an excellent opportunity for established advisers seeking the backing and infrastructure of a national wealth management business while retaining the autonomy and client-focused approach of a high-quality financial planning practice.

The Opportunity

The business has grown through organic expansion and the acquisition of established financial planning practices across the UK.

Its Northern Ireland operation is entering its next phase of growth, with plans to build a strong local advisory team supported by dedicated administration and paraplanning capability.

The successful Financial Advisers will develop and maintain long-term client relationships, provide holistic financial planning advice and contribute to the continued growth of the Northern Ireland business.

The Role

As Financial Adviser, you will:

  • Provide high-quality, holistic financial planning advice to private clients

  • Build and maintain trusted, long-term client relationships

  • Advise across pensions and retirement planning, investments, tax-efficient planning, protection, and estate and succession planning

  • Conduct regular client reviews and ensure advice remains appropriate as circumstances change

  • Develop new client relationships through referrals, professional connections and existing networks

  • Work closely with paraplanning and administration colleagues to deliver an excellent client experience

  • Maintain accurate and compliant client records

  • Ensure all advice meets FCA and internal compliance standards

  • Identify opportunities to deepen existing client relationships

  • Build relationships with professional introducers, including accountants, solicitors and other advisers

  • Contribute to the wider growth of the business across Northern Ireland

The Person

We are particularly interested in Financial Advisers who have:

  • Previous experience providing regulated financial advice

  • Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning or equivalent

  • Strong knowledge of pensions, investments and wider financial planning

  • A client-focused, relationship-led approach

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Experience developing trusted relationships with high-net-worth and private clients

  • A good understanding of FCA regulatory requirements

  • Professional networks or introducer relationships within Northern Ireland

  • A commercial mindset and interest in developing new business

Candidates who are Chartered Financial Planners or working towards Chartered status would be particularly attractive.

Why Consider the Opportunity?

  • Backed by a large and established UK wealth management group

  • Strong financial backing and ambitious growth plans

  • Opportunity to join during an exciting phase of expansion in Northern Ireland

  • Growing Belfast-based operation

  • Dedicated administration and paraplanning support

  • National infrastructure combined with a relationship-led financial planning approach

  • Opportunity to play a meaningful role in developing the Northern Ireland business

  • Access to an established national wealth management platform
